Desperation Youth Ministries is the student ministry of Victory Christian Assembly. We aim to reach the generation of youth between the ages of 12 and 18 with the Message of God. We seek to offer a place of fun, safety, but most importantly, a place where a young person can truly experience God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.
What does Desperation mean?
The definition of "desperate" is showing extreme urgency or intensity because of great need or desire.
Why call the Ministry Desperation?
Our name is Desperation because we will be a generation that humbles ourselves before our God and calls out in desperation for our Almighty Father. Just like the definition, we will show extreme urgency because in these days the urgency of a lost generation is immense. We are to reach them, tell them about Christ, help them grow with God and train them up to do the same. Recent studies show that only 4% of teens will profess Christ and Desperation Youth Ministry seeks the make that number rise! We also will show intensity before our King with dynamic praise and worship, passionate prayer, and un-hindered reading of the Bible. We desire to be desperate for God. We are nothing without Him, therefore we will seek more of Him!

"Desperate, I throw myself on You; You are my God! Hour by hour I place my days in Your hand, safe from hands out to get me. Warm me, Your servant, with a smile; save me because You love me."
Purpose Statement Desperation Youth Ministry will be a place where young people can come to know God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit more clearly. It will offer dynamic praise and worship, creative arts, anointed preaching, passionate prayer, un-hindered reading of the Bible, and intense seeking of Almighty God. It will bring youth to meet God, grow with God, and be trained to reach more of this generation with the knowledge of God. It will be a ministry desperate for more of our Father.
Vision Statement Desperation Youth Ministry will be filled with Christians who not only in love with their Master, but seek more of Him every single day. They will become desperate to see change, friends and family saved, and God move in this generation.
